The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) has begun the registration process for TS ICET 2024 counseling on September 1. Candidates can apply on the official TSCHE website

To qualify for TS ICET counseling, candidates must have scored at least 50% (for OC) and 45% (for others).

Eligibility Criteria for TS ICET Counseling:
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals.
Residency: Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (w) Dept., dated 10-07-1979, and its subsequent amendments.
Age Limit for Scholarships: The maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship is 30 years for OC candidates and 34 years for other candidates as of 01-07-2024. This is as per the guidelines in Memo No. 10537/SW(Edn.2)/2011, dated 20-10-2012, and subsequent guidelines issued by the Social Welfare (Edn.) Department.

Educational Qualification:

  MBA: Candidates must have passed a recognized bachelor's degree examination of at least three years duration, excluding Oriental languages.

  MCA: Candidates must have passed BCA/BSc/BCom/BA with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level.
  The qualifying degree obtained through a Distance Mode Program or Open Distance Learning (ODL) must be recognized by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB as per UGC regulations.

Other State University Degrees: Candidates must submit an equivalency certificate issued by Osmania University.

TGICET-2024 Rank: Merely appearing for TGICET-2024 and obtaining a rank does not guarantee admission unless the candidate meets all the admission requirements.

TS ICET Counselling Schedule:

Certificate Verification: For already slot-booked candidates, certificate verification will take place between September 3 and 9 (except September 7).

Exercising Options: After certificate verification, candidates can exercise their options between September 4 and 11. The freezing of options will occur on September 11.

Provisional Seat Allotment: Seats will be provisionally allotted on or before September 14.

Payment of tuition fees and self-reporting through the website will take place between September 14 and 17.

Final Phase: The final phase of TS ICET counseling 2024 will begin on September 20. Certificate verification for already slot-booked candidates will occur on September 21.

Exercising options will take place between September 21 and 22, with options freezing on September 22.

Provisional seat allotment will be done on or before September 25, followed by tuition fee payment and self-reporting from September 25 to 27.

Reporting to Colleges: Students are required to report to their allotted colleges between September 25 and 28.
Spot Admission: Guidelines for spot admissions to MBA and MCA private unaided colleges will be available on the website on September 27.

This counseling process is designed to facilitate admission to MBA and MCA courses across Telangana. The provisional seat allotment result for TS ICET phase 1 is expected on or before September 14.
