MCC NEET UG Counseling 2024: How and Where to Register for Round 1
The Medical Counseling Committee will start the MCC NEET UG Counseling 2024 soon. Candidates who have qualified for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test can apply for the counseling round through the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
The NTA previously informed the Supreme Court that the counseling process would start on July 6, 2024. However, the MCC has not yet shared the detailed notification and schedule for NEET UG Counseling 2024.
To apply for MCC NEET UG counseling, candidates can follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the MCC NEET UG Counseling 2024 registration link available on the home page.
3. Enter the registration details and click submit.
4. Log in to the account.
5. Fill out the application form and pay the application fee.
6. Click submit and download the page.
7. Keep a hard copy for future reference.
The NEET re-test took place on June 23 for 1,563 candidates affected by time loss during the previous exam. Out of the 1,563 eligible candidates, 813 appeared for the re-test. The main NEET UG examination occurred on May 5, 2024, and the results were announced on July 4, 2024.
The MCC NEET counseling will cover 15 percent of all India quota seats and all seats of central universities (Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi, and Faculty of Dentistry at Jamia Milia Islamia), along with seats of colleges under the Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.
