GPAT 2024 Results Announced

New Delhi: The National Board of Examination Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2024 results 8july.

The National Board of Examination Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the GPAT-2024 results, which indicate the scores obtained by candidates and their GPAT-2024 ranks. Candidates can view their results on NBEMS's official website. Individual scorecards for those who appeared in GPAT-2024 will be available for download from the official website of NBEMS on or after July 14, 2024.

GPAT 2024 is a national-level examination for awarding scholarships to qualified candidates seeking entry into the Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) course. However, appearing in GPAT-2024 does not guarantee an automatic right to secure an M.Pharm seat or a scholarship for M.Pharm courses.

NBEMS conducted GPAT 2024 on June 8, 2024, for admission to Master of Pharmacy courses and the award of scholarships for M.Pharm courses. The exam took place on a computer-based platform at various testing centers across the country.

NBEMS issued a notice stating that the GPAT 2024 rank represents the overall merit position of candidates who appeared in the examination. In the case of two or more candidates obtaining equal scores in GPAT-2024, the inter-se-merit of such candidates will be determined.

The final answer keys for GPAT-2024 were prepared based on input from subject matter experts who examined all challenges and objections raised by candidates to the provisional answer keys and recorded responses for GPAT-2024. Experts found three questions to be technically incorrect, but full marks were awarded to all candidates, regardless of whether they attempted these questions.

According to the notice, GPAT-2024 had technically incorrect questions in two subjects: one in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Allied Subjects, and two in Pharmaceutics and Allied Subjects.

The validity of the GPAT-2024 scorecard will be for three years. If candidates are found using any unfair means during the exam, they will face penal action as deemed appropriate by NBEMS.

The state government and state authorities handle admissions to M.Pharm. courses. Candidates must apply separately to the desired GPAT-2024 participating institutions. Each participating institute will release its respective cut-off GPAT scores, which candidates must meet to qualify for admission.

NBEMS does not play a role in counseling or the disbursement of scholarships. However, the concerned authority will verify documents and determine candidates' eligibility during the counseling and admission process.
