The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, has declared the result for the PhD Entrance Examination (Stages I & II with Special Weightage) for the July 2024 session. Candidates who qualified in the entrance exam held on August 13, 2024, must now prepare for the Departmental Clinical/Practical/Lab-Based Assessment (Stage III), which will be conducted via video conferencing on September 19, 2024.

Key Details for Stage III Assessment:

The Stage III assessment will take place through video conferencing.
The respective departments will notify candidates of the video conferencing platform and assessment timings via their registered email addresses.
After combining the marks of Stage I, II, and special weightage, a list of candidates three times the number of seats in each department has been selected for Stage III.

 Important Points for Candidates:

1. Project Selection: Candidates who successfully clear Stage III can choose any available project in the department they applied to, provided the PhD seat has been advertised for that department in the July 2024 session.
2. Fellowship Eligibility: Candidates without a fellowship will not be eligible for seats where a fellowship is mandatory. However, candidates with a fellowship can apply for all available seats.
3. Document Upload: Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents on the AIIMS website via their personal login credentials between September 11 and September 13, 2024, by 5:00 PM:
   Date of Birth Certificate
   Graduation Certificate and Mark Sheet
   Post-Graduation Certificate and Mark Sheet
   No Objection Certificate (if applicable)
Experience Certificate (if applicable)
4. Original Documents Verification: All original documents will be verified at the time of joining, and any incorrect information will result in cancellation of candidature.
  
Candidates are advised not to wait until the last minute to upload their documents, as failure to do so by 5:00 PM on September 13, 2024, will result in automatic cancellation of their candidature.
