NEET News of The National Medical Commission (NMC) recently announced that the NEET UG 2024 syllabus has been revised in comparison to the previous year. The NEET UG 2024 registration procedure is already open at neet.ntaonline.in, the new NTA NEET website. This year, adjustments have been made to the syllabus, exam locations, and other areas. It has been accepted that NEET UG 2024 will not be held outside of India with regard to exam locations. Candidates who want to sign up for the exam can do so at any one of the 544 venues around the nation.
There will be two parts for each of the four subjects. It will be 35 questions in section A and 15 in section B. Candidates have the option to tackle any 10 of the 15 questions in section B.
The NTA decided to provide the choice in Section "B" for each of the four courses in order to justify the decision made by various School Education Boards to reduce the educational program, according to an information bulletin that the organization produced.
Subject | Section A | Marks Allotted for Section A | Section B | Marks Allotted for Section B |
Physics | 35 | 140 | 15 | 40 |
Chemistry | 35 | 140 | 15 | 40 |
Botany | 35 | 140 | 15 | 40 |
Zoology | 35 | 150 | 15 | 40 |
Total Marks | 720 |
Every question will have four marks and be in the multiple-choice format. For each wrong answer in sections A and B, candidates will lose one mark. The NEET UG 2024 examination will be conducted pen and paper only, lasting three hours and twenty minutes.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) recently announced that the NEET UG 2024 syllabus has been revised in comparison to the previous year. It became clear that topics that are neither being taught either in the educational board nor available in the most recent edition of NCERT, have been removed. In response to inquiries about the reasons for the topic eliminations NTA stated that different school boards removed sections of each subject's syllabus because of the COVID-19 scenario. These boards were still not returning the removed sections, and the deletions were inconsistent among the boards. As a result of this, the NTA received numerous requests for the syllabus to be modified.
