Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to announce the KCET Counselling 2024 dates shortly. Based on previous trends, the schedule is likely to be released in the last week of June or early July. The official announcement will be available on the KEA website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. In 2023, KCET counselling commenced at the end of June. This year, it is expected to follow a similar timeline. KCET Counselling is for students who have qualified in the KCET and wish to pursue engineering, pharmacy, medicine, technology, dentistry, or architecture in government or private colleges that accept KCET scores.
The counselling process includes several steps: 1. Document verification 2. Choice filling and locking 3. Option entry 4. Seat allotment 5. Reporting to the allotted institutes Only candidates who have qualified in the Karnataka UGCET exam are eligible for counselling. They must register online, complete the document verification process, and participate in choice filling and locking. KEA will then prepare the mock seat allotment based on the students' merit and rank.
