The Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025 is scheduled to take place on February 2, 2025, featuring two separate sessions. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is responsible for administering JAM 2025, which facilitates admissions into master's programs for the academic year 2025-26.   February 2, 2025 (Sunday) – Morning Session:
- Chemistry (CY)
- Geology (GG)
- Mathematics (MA)

  February 2, 2025 (Sunday) – Afternoon Session:
- Biotechnology (BT)
- Economics (EN)
- Mathematical Statistics (MS)
- Physics (PH)

The JAM 2025 entrance exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format and encompasses seven subjects: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics. This test will be held in approximately 100 cities throughout India.

 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates eligible to appear for JAM 2025 must have either completed their undergraduate degree or be in their final year of undergraduate studies. Notably, there is no age restriction for participating in the exam.

 Purpose and Scope of JAM

JAM is an annual examination aimed at students aspiring to join around 3,000 postgraduate seats across various programs. These include MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (Research), Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD Dual Degree programs. These programs are offered at premier institutions such as the IITs, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur.
